This plant is also called Thimble weed because the seed bearing
part of the plant looks like a sewing thimble. This structure is formed
after flowering, and the seeds are on the outside somewhat like a green
strawberry. When mature, the head turns into a cottony mass with the seeds
attached to the outside.
