The blue flowers produce very few seeds. Other flowers that aren't readily visible form pods that hang down near the base of the plant. These pods change color from green to white as they mature. When they turn upward, they are about to open and scatter their seeds. The pods should be harvested as they begin to turn upward. Place the pods in a paper bag and they will open and drop the seed in the bag.
